Wapad brings you another list of newly released series or seasons of your favourite shows. The semester has just started and everyone is occupied with group assignments, quizzes and studying in general. We have searched high and low for shows we believe will be favoured as a good pass time during well-deserved study breaks. So just grab some popcorn, sit back and be immersed while watching the following.
Master of The House
In this complicated tale of a struggle for power and status, a maid marries a rich family and finds herself in a difficult position following the death of her new husband. This is a Thai series depicting the lengths people will go to for money, power and inheritance. If family feuds and family struggles are your Roman empire, try this masterpiece.
The Acolyte
This one is for the Star Wars fans. Disney introduces a new spinoff show based on the Star Wars franchise. Osha reunites with her master to investigate a series of crimes, only to learn that things are not as simple as they may seem. Secrets are unveiled and truths are revealed. Watch to find out what happens next.
Tokyo Swindlers
This Japanese showstopper is perfect for action lovers, especially those who love a little adrenaline rush and heist movies. A group of con artists get wind of ten billion Japanese yen, they fake documents and pretend to be landowners, scamming land developers.
Criminal Minds: Evolution
Criminal Minds is back with another season, bringing more bone-chilling, suspenseful episodes to keep us on the edge of our seats. In season 17 of the series, the Behavioural Analysis Unit is faced with the return of Voit and his band of misfits, or rather serial killers. Join the team as they chase down the criminal masterminds.
Taking the time to relax and watch some shows can be necessary to help with stress relief. These shows are just a few that will keep everyone occupied for a little while before returning to reality. Enjoy the series and your downtime.
